In the late 80s music media and music industry discovered the aspiring extreme metal movement for their hype and exploitation and myriads of stupid poser fans as well as thousands of completely worthless bands followed them. At this time the kind of music that has been the roughest, most disgusting and most hostile towards mainstream had reached the point of total sell-out and stared into the gaping abyss of collapse as the result of all the upcoming mainstream hypocrisy. A small number of bands at that time, most of them from Norway, discovered this horrifying fact and to countermove it they pushed the limits of extremity to a level no artist had ever discovered before. A new kind of underground was born to arise from the maggot infested swamp the extreme metal scene had become at that time, inspired by cold winter feelings, the search for extremity in a way yet unarchieved and the infernal lust for bloodshed. This was when Black Metal was born...

A lot has changed since the time of the great Darkthrone, Burzum and Mayhem, the time when churches were set ablaze and blood was shed - and the time when the newly created extreme metal mainstream was pissed on. It took media and industry a few years to adept, but after some time they got a grip of what Black Metal was heading towards. Soon the first bands with a clear and positive sound were coming out of nowhere, singing songs about how much they'd like to be trolls and vampires, about how 'cool' it would be to be a satanist. For a long time it seemed that only this embarressing melodic, studio-perverted bastard son of Black Metal and common mainstream extreme metal would be the only thing the industry could get hold of, but everything changed in recent years...

Today that we find stupid posers running around in "Black Metal ist Krieg" T-Shirts or Moonblood records being abused for the welfare of major companies like eJew, it becomes more and more obvious that after ten years the hordes of brainwashed, media and industry controlled kiddie posers adepted to the raw original Black Metal sound. As unrealistic as this may sound to some, it is just as realistic as early extreme metal bands becoming a "mainstream" was more than ten years ago. Sure there are those "the public opinion doesn't bother us"-typed people in the underground who don't care about the whole movement being flooded by numbskull faggots. Our respect for the raw original Black Metal remains unbroken, but Eternal Blackness Records stands for taking the next step on the way to pure extremity in musical, emotional and conceptional form. Our music is for the elite only!!! This is our Manifesto, these words and all our work will be dedicated to coldness and hate as well as the death of all follower-typed poserdom in the underground!!! No more fantasy stories!!! No more easy listening crap!!! For a future of eternal blackness...
